Valentine’s Day Giveaway Bash: Win an Assortment of Chocolates from Sarris Candies (ends 2/8)

Well, it wouldn’t be a Valentine’s Day Bash if I didn’t share some of my favorite chocolates. When I think of Valentine’s Day, I always think of Sarris chocolate. My dad would go to their factory every year to pick up a selection of confections for us girls. Mmmm, so yummy.

This year, I decided to step outside my comfort zone to try a few of their newer products. I can safely say that I have a new favorite (next to the chocolate covered pretzels and peanut butter meltaways). This new fave is their microwaveable hard cap / fondue. It’s so simple to eat too. Just stick the container in the microwave for about 30 – 60 seconds and you’re good to go. I enjoyed dipping marshmallows (and my finger) in the fondue, but you can also use it as a hard cap on ice cream and other cold treats.

Sarris also sent me some block chocolate to experiment with in baking, but, um…well, we sort of just ate it. It’s not my fault, really! I was looking for recipes to experiment with and just couldn’t find the perfect one. In the mean time, that chocolate kept calling to us. Next time, I swear I’ll try some recipes and tell you all how it goes. In fact, you can help me pick which one to try. For now, though, let’s give some away.
