Save More with Discounted Gift Cards
Thursday, June 28, 2012
The 4th of July is right around the corner and that means we’ll be seeing plenty of retail sales and probably some great coupons as well. So, this is a great time to purchase some discounted gift cards for even more savings. If you’ve never purchased discounted gift cards, or you’re wondering what it’s all about, let me give you a quick rundown.
How it works:
When someone gets a gift card they don’t want, they can sell it online at a rate that is less than its full value. It’s a good deal for people who otherwise wouldn’t have a use for the card. It also provides a great opportunity for consumers to save big. You can buy (or sell) physical cars, electronic card and even a merchandise credit. When shopping online, I opt for for buying an electronic card because you can often get the gift card numbers (and PIN) instantly via email (and most brick and mortar stores will still accept it as well.) So, if you find a good sale, head over and see if you can get an eGift Card at a discount to increase your savings. And, if you have a few unwanted cards, check out these sites to see what you can get for it.
Sites I recommend:
Plastic Jungle – Sell an unwanted gift card for as much as 92% of the value (numbers vary depending on the retailer) and buy cards for as much as 30% off. Get paid instantly via PayPal, or Amazon Gift card.
CardPool – Sell an unwanted gift cards for as much as 92% of the value (numbers vary depending on the retailer) and buy cards for as much as 30% off. Get paid via check or instantly through PayPal, Facebook Credits or Amazon Gift card. CardPool also allows you to sell your gift cards electronically – no mailing required, or mail your gift cards using their FREE SHIPPING LABEL. (This site is my preferred choice for buying because they send electronic gift cards instantly and the customer service is far superior.)
